I was lying in a burned out basement , with the full moon in my eyes.
I was hoping for replacement when the sun burst thru the sky.
There was a band playing in my head and I felt like getting high.
I was thinking about what a friend had said I was hoping it was a lie.

Isn’t that just one of the best songs, Neil Young…ah, but lets give a shout out to all our Canadian athletes that won gold for Canada. Wow. That’s where this post was supposed to be going, but thinking about the gold got me thinking about what happens after the gold. It’s like most things in life really, they are these roller coasters of highs and low. Beleive me, I’ve had many of them, but have learned to appreciate the ride up and the ride down. It’s all about the experience, the trip.Â
I wanted to talk a little bit about the upcoming perfomers for Musical Expressions
Ricky Francisco is this coming Saturday, March 13th, then Karen Larson is April 3rd and Rob Fillo is May 1st so hope you’ll be able to come out and enjoy the great music by these artists. All 3 are from Richmond, so am really proud of that! Until next time, give each other a hug, be kind to the earth and do something nice for someone today, random acts of kindness are great for the karma pool
Peace and love
Cherelle
